@jamalload i think it’s all in the ear, a skilled/experienced producer can hear samples in songs that other listeners couldn’t, which I’m still one of those other listeners haha

Thank you so much for finally showing me how to do this, I’ve been rapping for the last couple years and I love listening to all my old LP’s and casettes and I could never figure out how to sample any of it for beats. There’s just something about vinyl samples that sound way better than a totally electronic beat.
