In this tutorial I try to explain how an ADSR envelope helps shape a sound. To demonstrate I chose to use the FL Studio sampler channel but the way ADSR works is the same in just about every instance. ADSR can be applied to various parts of a sound, it’s volume is one of the most common as well as the filter.
